Every day Jay drives around Tokyo in his taxi looking for his daughter Lily. In the 9 years that have passed since he broke up with his wife, he has not been able to get custody of his daughter. Having given up hope of ever seeing her again, he is about to return to France when Lily jumps into his taxi. But she doesn’t recognize him.
