I think the show is a pretty solid story and in that niche where Costner does his best work
John Dutton (Kevin Costner) often seems to "forget" his Montanan accent and drifts back into the SoCal-speaking voice he usually uses… Featured on WatchMojo: 10 Best Summer TV Shows That Aren’t on Your Radar (2018). I live in Darby, MT, where most of this is filmed – just yesterday they filmed me across the street in a field with a few horses and cattle.
I admit it’s great to see them filming
One thing I noticed in the first season, considering my half-Indian side, is that it makes you wonder who the good guys and bad guys are – maybe both sides are both good and bad. The ranch is just down the road from me when I’m here, and I pass by almost every day on my way to the Bitterroot River to fish.
